We have a number of opportunities for the Community to help out at the school.

School Council

School Council meets on a monthly basis and directs the school and it is a great way to contribute to your community. We are always willing to have new School Council members. If you are interested and would like some more information please contact, Ms Donna DeMasi on 9403 0400.

Mullberry Community Gardens

Mullberry Community Gardens is a community run organisation at the back of the Glenroy College site. The site has been used by the college and students in various incarnations as student projects and joint community projects; in 2009 a joint Moreland Council and community organisation took over the running of the Community Garden. It is a community garden whereby local community members plant, grow and use produce from the garden. There is a wood fire pizza oven and bbq available to its members. If you are interested in joining the Mullberry Community Garden, please go to the following link.

Retired Volunteers – Timehelp

We currently have volunteers from Timehelp helping out at the college. Timehelp is a volunteer organisation for retired people who want to give something back to their community. Our volunteers currently assist in tutoring Maths students, in the garden and helping students with mechanics. If you are interested in volunteering with Timehelp please go to the following link.

Work Experience, Work Placements, Workplace Tours and Career Talks

We are always looking for opportunities for students to experience the real world of work. If you are able to offer students work experience, work placements or perhaps even a tour of your workplace we would love to hear from you. If you would like to talk to students about your job and your journey of work, we would also love to hear from you. Please contact Mr. Ben Reddy-Stringer, MIPPS Coordinator on 9304 0400.
